The exact browser storage used by insar.sk, why it is used and how you control optional Google Analytics 4.
01
Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website asks a browser to retain. Local storage is a similar browser mechanism. This site uses one necessary first-party local record for your privacy choice and, only after consent, two first-party GA4 cookies. A clean visit before any choice creates no analytics storage.
02
Consent system
insar.sk uses a versioned first-party preference centre, not a third-party consent-management service. The record contains necessary and analytics categories, accepted or rejected status, policy version, decision time and expiry. An old or expired record is treated as unresolved and analytics stays blocked.
03
Necessary category
Necessary storage supports essential operation and remembers the choice made on this device. It cannot be switched off in the preference centre, is created only after Reject, Accept or Save selection, and is not sent to Google.
04
Analytics category
The Google Analytics 4 web data stream with Measurement ID G-7QF4TR22ZH measures website use after an affirmative choice. Before that choice—or after rejection—the gtag.js library, GA requests and _ga cookies are fully blocked. Advertising consent signals remain denied. Rejecting analytics does not limit the website.
05
Your controls
On the first layer you can Reject analytics, Customise or Accept analytics. Customise opens a Necessary storage and Analytics selector, with Analytics off by default, and lets you Reject, Save selection or Accept. Cookie settings in every page footer reopens the selector. Closing an unresolved selector does not create consent.
06
Withdrawal and expiry
Changing an accepted choice to rejected stops future site analytics, deletes accessible _ga and _ga_* cookies for the site and performs one controlled reload to unload the Google runtime. It does not erase data collected lawfully before withdrawal. The consent record and GA cookies last no more than 365 days; you can also clear site data in browser settings.
07
Storage inventory
This inventory reflects a clean-browser inspection of the implemented first-party consent record and the GA4 cookies observed only after opt-in.

Legal basis
Section 109(8) of Slovak Act No. 452/2021 requires demonstrable consent before storing or accessing information on a user's device, except for transmission or a service that is strictly necessary and explicitly requested. Optional analytics therefore remains off until consent. Personal-data analytics processing relies on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
